OTP
OTP verification without your own SIM
The one-time password still arrives as an SMS. You read it in your account instead of on your own phone.
OTP verification is the short code an app sends to check that you control a phone number. Those codes expire quickly, so the number should already be reserved before you ask the app to text it.
Choose the service and the country, paste the mobile number into the app, then copy the OTP from your SmsWays order. Most codes show up within a minute. A one-time number stays open for 20 minutes.
A second factor that arrives days later needs a rented number. A one-time line is released after its window and will not be there for the next login.
The hold matches the price you saw in the catalog. It becomes a charge only after the OTP arrives. No message means the hold returns to the balance.
